Now Accepting students!!! Academic support classroom for children with foreign roots

Volunteers and university students will tutor students.
Please bring school work that you would like help with, such as questions about lessons, homework, or test preparation material.
Tutoring will be in Japanese.
Staff who speak Portuguese, Chinese, and English will also be there to help.
Let’s study together
Participation is free.
Classroom date and venue
- June 19th (Sunday) 2:00pm – 4:00pm Hikawa Library Audiovisual Hall
- June 26th (Sunday) 2:00pm – 4:00pm Izumo Civic Center 302 Training Room
- July 3rd (Sunday) 2:00pm – 4:00pm Hikawa Library Audiovisual Hall
- July 10th (Sunday) 2:00pm – 4:00pm Big Heart Izumo Tea Studio
- It may be changed or cancel depending on the infection status of the new coronavirus.
- We plan to hold classrooms after August. We will let you know when the content is decided.
People who can participate
Children with foreign roots (approx. junior high school ~ 18 years old)
*Excluding high school students
Capacity: 10 students per session
(applications accepted on a first-come first-served basis)
