Shimane Prefecture and Shimane International Center is recruiting participants for the SIC Japanese language course “Netto de Nihongo”.

4 classes of “Netto de Nihongo”

Thursday class 1

  • Day and time: Every Thursday 7:00pm – 9:00 p.m.
  • Level check test before class: May 1st (Wednesday) 9:00am – 12:00pm or May 2nd (Thursday) 6:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Study period: May 9th (Thursday) to August 22nd (Thursday) (15 lessons in total)
  • Contents to study 1: Study hiragana and katakana. We will use Shimane International Center original teaching materials.
  • Contents to Study 2: Study A1 level (*) Japanese communication and interactions necessary for daily life. The teaching materials used are Lessons 1 to 8 of “Introduction to Irodori/A1 (Japan Foundation)”.

Wednesday class 2

  • Day and time: Every Wednesday 10:00am – 12:00am
  • Level check test before class: May 1st (Wednesday) 9:00am – 12:00pm or May 2nd (Thursday) 6:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Study period: May 8th (Wednesday) – September 25th (Wednesday) (20 lessons in total)
  • Content to study: You will study A1 level (*) Japanese communication and interactions necessary for daily life. The teaching materials used are lessons 9 to 18 of “Introduction to Irodori/A1 (Japan Foundation)”. (English teaching materials can be viewed here. Thursday class 3

  • Day and time: Every Thursday 7:00pm – 9:00 p.m.
  • Level check test before class: May 1st (Wednesday) 9:00am – 12:00pm or May 2nd (Thursday) 6:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Study period: May 9th (Thursday) to September 26th (Thursday) (20 lessons in total)
  • Content to study: You will study A1 level (*) Japanese communication and interactions necessary for daily life. The teaching materials used are lessons 1 to 8 of “Irodori Beginner 1/A2 (Japan Foundation)”. (English teaching materials can be viewed here. Wednesday class 4

  • Day and time: Every Wednesday 10:00am – 12:00am
  • Level check test before class: May 1st (Wednesday) 9:00am – 12:00pm or May 2nd (Thursday) 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Study period: May 8th (Wednesday) – September 25th (Wednesday) (20 lessons in total)
  • Content to study: You will study A2 level (*) Japanese communication and interactions necessary for daily life. The teaching materials used are lessons 9 to 18 of “Irodori Beginner 1/A2 (Japan Foundation)”. (English teaching materials can be viewed here. If you would like to participate, please read 1 to 7 before applying.

1) Study online. Please prepare everything you need, such as a smartphone, computer, and internet connection.

2) Textbooks will be sent by post mail from Shimane International Center.

3) Study in class format.

4) Up to 15 people can participate in one class, and up to 12 people can participate in other classes.

5) The following people (1) and (2) can apply.

     1 – People who live or work in Shimane Prefecture

     2 – Over 16 years old

6) Before class begins, there will be a level check test.

7) On the last day of each class, there will be a final exam.Please be sure to attend.
