  • We will have an opening ceremony.
  • Self introduction.
  • Play games and have fun.
  • Explain the second exchange program.

2. 2nd exchange program

Shinji Furusato Shinrin Park(3353-2 Sasou, Shinji-cho, Matsue City)

Content

This year’s theme is “Forest Understanding”.

  • Listen to stories about forests.
  • Nature Trailing: Walk in groups through the forest park and answer quizzes at checkpoints.
  • Enjoy lunch cooked in a bamboo tube.
  • Hands-on activities (contents are being adjusted)

Target

Foreigners living in Shimane Prefecture aged 18 to 30 (as of April 1, 2022)

Number of people

21 people (first-come-first-served basis)

Language

The exchange program will be conducted in Japanese.

English, Chinese, Tagalog, Portuguese and Vietnamese will be interpreted as needed.

Please participate in both the 1st (October 22nd) and 2nd (October 29th) exchange programs. (You cannot participate only once.)

Free

The Shimane International Center will bear the cost of public transportation within Shimane Prefecture.
