Why not visit Matsue Castle?

We, the MGG, are a group that provides English guided tours for foreign visitors to Matsue Castle.

While we usually guide tourists, we also want foreign residents living in the city to visit Matsue Castle, the symbol of Matsue City. Matsue Castle is one of only five National Treasure castles in Japan, retaining its original appearance from 420 years ago when it was built. The view from the top floor of the Castle Tower is spectacular, allowing you to experience the beauty of Matsue, the city of water.

We are stationed at the main keep of Matsue Castle from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays from March to November. Please feel free to approach us. We will provide a detailed guided tour. For those who are not confident in English, we can also incorporate Japanese into the tour.
