[Information about New Year] Many shops and restaurants will be closed during year-end and new year holidays except for shops which are "Nenjyu-Mukyu" =opening 7days a week.
Also, banks will be closed from Dec.31st to Jan. 3rd and most ATMs will be operated for limited time only. Don't forget to take money out before the new year comes. Big bargain will start from Jan. 2nd.
