Christmas illuminations, Trendy expressions 2010

[Christmas illuminations in Matsue] All over the place in Japan is illuminated for Christmas at this time of year. Christmas and the end of the year are approaching as we see.
A house in Nishi Hamasada (on R431) in Matsue is very famous for lighting up its garden with 40 thousand light bulbs. It is lit 18:00~21:00 every day till Dec.31st except for rainy days. Mr. Sota, the house owner, spent 2months for it.

[Trend in Japanese] The winners of the 2010 buzzword-of-the-year contest were recently announced.
・IKUMEN・・・A man who enjoys childcare.
・JYOSIKAI・・・A meeting that a bevy of women go to restaurants and Hotels.
・~NAU(NOW)・・・One is doing something now. For example/ Kyoto nau= I am in Kyoto now. Matsue nau. = I am in Matsue now.
Let's try using them frankly!!
