Q= Where can I get a resident card?

A=●Foreign nationals who newly enter Japan: ・If you enter Japan at either of NARITA, HANEDA, CHUBU, and KANSAI airports and become a mid-to long-term resident, you will be issued a resident card on the spot.
・At other ports of entry, the description of "Resident card will be issued later" will be stamped on your passport, and the resident card will be sent afterward by registered mail to the place of residence (address) that you have notified to the municipal office.
(*If you have not received a resident card in 2weeks after notifying the place of residence, please refer to The Immigration Bureau of the Ministry of Justice: 03-3580-4111)
●Foreign nationals who have been living in Japan: ・Resident card will be issued at the Regional Immigration Bureau.
