| 1.Equipment |
Full tents and half tents are
available for participating groups
and individuals.

The Shimane International Center
will provide 2 tables (45cm
x 180cm) and two chairs per half
tent. Any extra equipment
can be provided at the following
prices.
Extra Table:
1,000 yen, Extra Chair: 300 yen
Gas Range: 1,500 yen, Gas Bottle:
2,500 yen |
| 2.Electricity |
Please
do not use appliances requiring
an electrical outlet. Please
use batteries for tape decks, etc.
If it is absolutely necessary that
you have an electrical outlet for
your tent, please consult us at
the Shimane International Center.
Please be aware that the cost of
one generator is 4,000 yen. Please
be sure to include the name,
voltage and wattage of the appliance
on your application. |
| 3.Subsidy |
The
Shimane International Center may
be able to provide subsidies after
the fair to groups or individuals
organizing international or cultural
exchange tents. The subsidy
is to help pay for materials used
in the exhibit. Please send a subsidy
application form with the attached
receipts and if the expenses are
deemed appropriate up to 10,000
yen will be reimbursed. However,
the travelling and food expenses
of participants will not be reimbursed
and tents which
make a profit, are not eligible
for a subsidy. Please contact
us if you require further details. |
| 4.
Donations for Scholarships |
A
minimum donation of 3,000 yen will
be collected each tent selling food
or other items. We welcome the
selling of goods and foods reflecting
the participant's home country.
The money collected will go to the
Center's Kunibiki Scholarship Fund
and used to support a foreign university
student in Shimane. Donations of
over 3,000 yen are most welcome.
Your cooperation is appreciated
in this matter. International
culture exchange tents will not
be asked for a donation. |

Other |
A
corner introducing Fair Trade and
a corner for trying on traditional
costumes are also being planned.
Please contact us if you would like
to assist. |

STAGE |
The International
Exchange Stage will welcome all
kinds of dances, songs and performances
from around the world as well as
international understanding of games.
Please apply on the sheet provided
if you can perform.
