In Izumo region, there is a culture of indigo dyeing cotton from ancient times as well as “Furoshiki”(wrapping cloth) and was use as a “yumeiridougu”(gift when getting married). “Wrapping cloth” is a simple square cloth and“Furoshiki”has been a very versatile item, it is now also use as energy conservation or ecology and use at the time of disaster.
